Evening Wear

A Suitable Wardrobe is happy to present a couple of evening enhancements for your consideration this season. For one thing, a man's pockets are not supposed to bulge when he wears black tie and well dressed men should consider carrying our ultra-slim Zonta calf dress wallet. Designed by London's famed RBJ Simpson to be worn upright inside a jacket, its two full length pockets and two credit card slots hold the essentials without calling attention to their presence. Then there is the small but equally important matter of what to do about the stand-up shirt collar. Adjustable bow ties leave an unsightly adjustment mechanism visible at the back of the neck. The fix for that of course is a sized bow tie made to fit without an adjustor, and for that we have begun offering a white Marcella version of the full dress tie in a classic diamond point, to be followed real soon now by black grosgrain in a modified butterfly for wear with a dinner jacket. To the best of our knowledge we are the only online source in the world for sized bow ties of this outstanding quality.  Enhance your evenings with either, both or any of our other elegant after 6:00 PM offerings.

Warning, content below represents a man's libidinous fascination with an automobile. It is not Lolita; after all Bradley Berman, the author, is not Nabokov and the Wraith is not underaged. Nonetheless, I find myself simultaneously repulsed... and seduced. David J. Katz

Discounts, Discovery & Delight: 3Ds for Retail Success

In fashion and retail, Dopamine is the drug of choice. Technically, Dopamine is the neurotransmitter of “desire.” Dopamine leaps across synapses in our brain to control our reward and pleasure centers. It enables craving. It induces repeat behaviors. It makes us want more. Therefore, it is in our best interest to create products and experiences which induce the release of dopamine in our consumers. We could use some dopamine for ourselves, too. In our fashion and retail world, there are three primary stimuli, "3Ds," we can control to deliver hits of dopamine: Discounts, Discovery and Delight.
